Bath & Laundry Sets by Mary Brandenburg & Jenny Slover

Regardless of the century in which you live, getting clean after a long day of work is simply indispensable. Mary Brandenburg and Jenny Slover teamed up to donate a truly unique offering: two period-appropriate bath and laundry sets. The first set comes accompanied with the centuries-old standard of lye soap. The second set includes Slover’s “Grime Getter” soap. As its name implies, it’s the perfect soap for blacksmiths or textile dyers. It’s made from natural ingredients including clary sage, lemon and sandalwood oils for a pleasant odor; coffee grounds and cornmeal grits are included for a little strength in removing tough grime. Both of these helpful sets come complete with Mary Brandenburg’s nettle fiber washcloth, linen drying towel, and handy hemp carry bag. Darrel Brandenburg added a three-ply jute laundry line and a set of hand carved clothespins.
